The audio launch of Shri Movie Makers and Sun Pictures Thee was a star studded affair at the Sathyam cinemas.
The stage saw a whole line up of tinsel town luminaries and a whole many more were seated among the audience since the space was not enough on stage.
Sundar C acts as a cop in this film directed by G Kicha and his co stars are Ragini and Namitha. The launch saw a sizzling kuthu song of Sundar C with Namitha, a romantic duet in Switzerland with Ragini and one montage song with lots of bullets flying, showing the hero as a tough cop killing rowdies like flies.
A host of invitees were welcomed by Sarath Saxena, COO of Sun Pictures and the occasion also saw the launch of Sun Audio. Present on the occasion were its music director Srikanth Deva, Vijay Antony, Immam, Sundar C and Khusbhoo, SA Chandrasekar, RB Chowdary, Kalaipuli Thanu, LM Murlidharan, Kaja Mohideen, Perarasu, Sathyajothi Thiagrajan, Lawrence and youngsters Shanthnoo, Simbu and Nakul. Karan, KT Kunjumon, Pandiaraj, Saravanan and others were also present.
Every speaker praised the Sun Network and their rise and the ability of Sun Pictures to choose good films and make them hits by their good publicity and marketing skills.
Thee is the first film of Sun Audio. Sundar C recalled that this is the first time he has really danced in a film. “Though the temperature was minus four in Switzerland, I was sweating all the way due to the dancing I had to do!” he quipped.
Srikanth Deva has composed two gana songs, two melodies, one kuthu number and one club song in the film. The surprise speaker was perhaps Simbu who was seen at a public function after a long time and who spoke at length about the Sun Network and their ability to make a hit out of a small film like Kadalil Vizhunthein.
