Captain Vijayakanth and Vikraman are coming together for Mariyaathai after blockbuster movie Vanathai Pola. The grand success of Saroja, T. Siva of Amma Creations produces this Mariyathai film. In ‘Mariyaadhai’, Vijayakanth plays dual roles of father and son with Meera Jasmine and Meena in the female lead role. For the father character Ambika is the choice. After “naaku mukka” Vijay Antony scores the music for this Mariyadhai. This time Vikraman did not chose his regular music composer S A Rajkumar.
