Finally Jayam Kondaan director Kannan is the 'chosen one' to direct Moserbaer's Tamil remake of Jab We Met, which will have Bharath and Tamannaah in the lead.
The director was preferred over many others as the producers feel that he is in tune with youth audiences. Kannan a former assistant of Mani Ratnam, understands the pulse of today's audiences, as proved by the success of JK.
For Kannan it is a big leap forward. He gets to direct the fastest rising star in Kollywood Bharath and the beautiful hot and happening heroine Tamannaah.
The shoot of the film will start in January as Kannan is planning to write the script of the film
