Now it is confirmed that Dharani will not be directing Ajit for Sivaji Productions. Industry buzz is that he had "creative differences" with the ultimate star. Ajit fans also suspected his loyalty which they feel was with "Chiyaan and Ilayathalapathy".
Added to that Dharani told Sivaji Productions that he comes as a package along with his favourites- Vidyasagar and cameraman Gopinath. This was not acceptable for Sivaji Productions as they had already paid advances to Harris Jayaraj and a well known cameraman, who were part of the original Gautham Menon team.
The latest on the front is that Ajit is going all out to woo Vishnuvardhan, his current favourite after he gave him his biggest hit Billa. Vishnu however does not like to be rushed as he is yet to complete Sarwam, which will now release only for summer of 2009. He does not like to start a new film without the release of his earlier film.
But Sivaji Productions and Ajit can't wait, as they want the film to start in December and release it for summer. Sources close to Vishnu says that he is yet to work out the script and is also particular like Dharani that he "comes as a package- Yuvan Shankar Raja, Nirav Shah and stunt master Thyagarajan!"
