Gautham Vasudev Menon's dreams are finally going to be fulfilled. His magnum opus two years in the making Vaaranum Aayiram with his favourite hero Surya is now ready for release.
There were so many road blocks to the film’s release and Gautham had to rope in Dhayanidhi Alagiri at the last minute. His banner Cloud Nine is going to release the film through various distributors in Tamilnadu.
Finally after a lot of compromises producer V.Ravichandran, Tamilnadu theatrical rights owner Dhayanidhi Alagiri, earlier rights owner Gemini Film Circuit and Gautham Menon decided to bury their differences and release the film.
The overseas prints of the film have left the Chennai lab on Monday evening, further confirming its Friday release worldwide. Once again print ads in Tamil papers (which were suspended for a brief period) have started appearing from Monday announcing the release date.
The advance booking in Chennai city where it is releasing in 10 screens starts on Wednesday morning. A big red carpet premiere of the film for charity is going to be held on Thursday evening.
