The big Diwali weekend (Oct 24 to 27), is a week away, Kollywood is buzzing with activity as the Diwali releases are getting ready. The release schedule is still hazy, with Ajit's Aegan and Bharath's Seval only confirming theatres. Both the films are being marketed by Ayngaran International, who has got the best screens in Tamilnadu and overseas for the films.
Gautham Menon who is marketing Vaaranam Aayiram is finding it difficult to get good screens in major towns in the state. And overseas without the support of Ayngaran International, you will simply not be able to screen the film. Still, Gautham is saying that he will come out on Oct 27, Diwali day!
Meanwhile the Maddy-Mamta-Vivek comedy Guru En Aaalu, directed by Selva and produced by KRG is also likely to release on Diwali day. S.J Suryah and the producers of his Newtonin 3am Vidhi is on the waiting list of some theatres. It will release if one of the other four scheduled releases are cancelled at the last minute
